New Toy

I bought myself a new toy!!!

I bought myself a new laptop...! Quite proud of myself as I bought my laptop with my own hard earn money. My previous laptop was 9 years ago during my foundation year and it has been loyal to me till my degree years.. Basically that old laptop my mum bought me has accompanied me till I've graduated from my degree!!

After I've graduated from my degree, my laptop started to give problem and slowly, i rely heavily on my smartphone or iPad and this makes me unable to update my blog always (yeah, I know, excuses).

After a long consideration of what brand I should go for and what is my most important thing that is a must have for my laptop. I'm quite interested with Samsung laptop but unfortunately, Samsung has no longer producing laptop into Singapore market!

Well, Samsung was my first option and since I can't get a Samsung laptop, my second option is Asus! After work today, went to survey Asus laptop price with my colleague who wants to go shopping as well. And at last, I've decided with this Asus laptop!

After much consideration and price comparing, I've finally made decision to buy this laptop from Asus store instead from the authorized outlets as buying from Asus directly have launching price of $200.00 cheaper than the usual selling price!

This is my first paying by myself laptop and I'm satisfied with it although it was a little over my budget. (Ok, time to go on diet to save more money for my upcoming Taiwan trip!)

Alright, I will stop typing now and wanna start exploring my new laptop!

Abandoned Site

Phewww... At last, I managed to log in my this blog account.

It has been so long since my last post. It has been years actually.

I have always wanted to update my blog and make my blog active back but the time seem to envy me. Actually I always sleep during my spare time. Haha

So many things had happened and from I have successfully graduated with Honours Degree few years back to I start my first full time job as a hotelier in a 4-Star Hotel in Petaling Jaya till now I'm working in a Medical Field in one of the restructured hospital in Singapore. (And I don't think I will want to update all these important life events due to my laziness)

Oh, one thing for sure that has not change is that I'm still attached with my boyfriend! Tying the knot soon??

I will try to make myself not lazy to update my blog. Well, I can't promise that I will update it frequently, but at least wont be months or years (I hope so)

It's NEW YEAR!!! Goodbye 2015 and hello 2016

There are a lot of ups and downs in year 2015 and thank God that I'm still strong facing difficulties and challenges. Hope year 2016 will do me good!! *Pray hard*

Wishing all my friend Happy New Year 2016 and may this year brings good beginning for everyone of us!

Silence

So long didn't blog..

I've forgotten that I do have a blog here. ;P

Pheww... Luckily I manage to log into my this blog.

I forget both my email and password.
(Imagine login using my "A" email then "Z" password, unsuccessful, then keep trying different passwords before trying my "B" email)

Being too busy with things here with my maid ran away November last year, to me being a final year student.

How fast time flies and now I'm in my final years and thesis is my huge responsibilities now.

Can't blog too long though as I really don't know what to blog already. Anyway, will update my blog more often whenever I have the time.. =)

Merry Christmas =)

Today is Jesus birthday!! Merry Christmas and have a blessed one!! ;)

Went to church for christmas mass. Celebrated with a few songs such as Christ is born in Bethlehem, O Come, All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night, and others (I can't remember). But it ends with We wish you merry christmas song.

The mass start at 10:30am, we were there at 10pm and the place is already full.

We have no choice, but to sit outside the church as it is already pack as usual.

Were thankful that we have a place to sit coz last time in St.John church, we have to stand outside, at the roadside.

After the celebration, went back home, mum and dad have to rest as tomorrow (I mean, later) is going to Penang for holiday.

As for me, I have to do the laundry, online and then after this have to pack my clothings for the holiday.

It had been so long since my last update.
My last update was like my last semester break??
And now it was like my another semester break?
I nearly forget my blog email and password just now when i wanna log in :(

As mentioned, I'm having my holiday now.
It's year end and I'm holiday now so whats next? PARTYYYYYY!!!!
But can't party much this year as my family suddenly wanna celebrate some festive season tomorrow (later I mean).
My first time celebrating it :P
Will be having some of that so called "tong yuen" in the evening with family
before heading off for dinner at town.

That's for tomorrow (Wed, 22nd Dec 2010)
Thurs, 23rd Dec will be partying with high school friends
Fri, 24th Dec, its Christmas eve.. My most busiest day yet it's my most happiest day.
Why?? Morning till late afternoon will be family day.
In the evening is celebrating and counting down for christmas in the church. :D
Mass is at 8pm but before that have to go there early for preparation.
Can't wait can't wait.
Oh ya, last saturday I was very brave.. Jesus sure love me the most as I went to church ALONE for mass.
My mum and sis was busy cleaning the house for christmas eversince my maid ran away (will post about it later [when I'm free]). I went alone to church, sit alone, pray alone, sing alone, walk alone (Ok, that was too exaggerate ;P)
The priest was like, why are you alone today?? hehe
After mass, what's next?? Supper together with family!!!

On Christmas day itself, will be going off to Penang for family holiday.
Last year was in Singapore, this year back to my lovely "hometown", Penang.
Will be spending 4 days, 3 nights in Penang, staying in Gurney Hotel, having a presidential suite (Feel like soooo VVIP) ;)
After that, will be coming back for new year celebration in the church of cause, and with my aunties and uncles.
Genting trip was cancelled (fully booked *sob*)

Wow..!
I just realise that it had been years since my last post..
So sorry..been busy lately since my last post..
as in super duper busy..
anyway..this post will sum all up..
what happened after my genting trip with the gang.

My birthday (2009)My biggest and the most expensive present ever..!

Mum bought me a saga car as my birthday present..

I guess is time for me to say goodbye to my loyal kenari car.. sobsob..Goodbye kenari.. i wont forget you as you are my first car and you are the one who carries all my belonging from my home sweet home to hostel in tarC and from hostel to rent room in Setapak Indah and from there back to my home sweet home..

You are the one who carries all 7 of us going out to TBR in the middle of the night for yam cha session.. (puileong, kelvin, sinyee, me, kimqin, shirkee and peyying).
You are the one who carries all 7 of us again back in HMC time.. (flo, zen, kim, me, devis, tinesh and yen). *flo's post*
I will truly miss you.. :(

This birthday really is a memorable one.. first, celebrated with sharon they all in genting.
Then on my exact day, I spend my birthday with Sangee, Amrita, Melissa and Edwyn.
We went to Midvalley for movie, then lunch in Chillis and then they pampered my nails with manicure.. so touching.. thanks guys.. i wont forget you guys.. you are all my besties..!

Came back, celebrated with my family and ta da..! with my new car.. :)

After my birthday.. it's december time..
Usually december is our family holiday trip period.
This time, we went to Singapore to celebrate christmas there.

1st day was spend in singapore zoo and night safari.
2nd day was spend in sentosa! (my favourite)

Went to underwater world in sentosa, then after that headed for dolphin show and then have lunch.
after that we watched sound of the sea where it's played by lighting and water splashing to get the image and the story was quite interesting and worth watching.. I wont forget the show.. awesome show ever..!

After singapore.. it was new year and chinese new year came along after that..
Nothing much about it.
the only unique about this chinese new year was jonathan brought us to a sport cafe where we drink beer and play snooker at night.. thats all..

hmm..after that been busy with my second year..
first sem was quite tough to go through as sangee and amrita is in doubt whether they are leaving help or not. Have to handle the mess after they really decide to leave us and our group.
So, me and edwyn have to find our own group to join and have to settle other stuff as it was already in week 4 as other groups have already started their assignment and i really have to work very hard to catch up with my new group, and learn what is new to me(everything is new). But at the end of the day.. we all became good friends.. =)

second sem was a short sem.. so no words can describe our work load.

having holiday now and will start my third sem after my holiday. my final sem for my second year.

well... i think i've done editing what happened after my last post.
So, here is the whole summary of it..!

I think this post will be my longest post ever without much picture..! ;)

will update again as i have a few holiday trips coming soon..!

Next post, i promise will be picture more than words..

Back to the room and continue gamble again till 4am.. :DAfter 2days 1 night, we need to go back home.. :(

Basically, this is what we did..
Go by bus and then cable car,
check in,
relax ourselves and gamble,
went to outdoor themepark,
have lunch with dinner in Kenny Rogers,
went back to outdoor themepark,
back to our room and gamble,
went out walking,
went into casino,
have a drink in coffee bean,
went back to our room,
GAMBLE!!!

Surprise

Weekend was spend in Genting Highland with high school friends.

We stayed at Theme Park Hotel and our room is so far away from the hotel lobby.
Imagine this, from the lobby, take the elevator up to seventh floor (which it is supposed to be that way). Then, have to walk passed all the other rooms till the end of the corridor (this time, you will envy other customers who can have the room so near the elevator). After at the end of the corridor, turn to the right and then turn to the left to walk across the bridge to another part of the hotel (mind you, the bridge is quite long). Finally, after the bridge, you will reach to another part of the hotel and you have to take another elevator down to second floor and then only you will reach your room after 3 doors away from the elevator (you then are exhausted and tired). I sometimes forget either to go up or down with that two elevators.

Oh ya, don't forget, you have to repeat the same steps when you want to go to the lobby. :)
The worst is, when you want to go to first world plaza for foods, after the lobby, you have to walk another distance from above the bridge all the way from outdoor theme park to resort world to first world plaza and all these process from our room to first world plaza can easily take us about 30 minutes (I'm not joking).

Anyway, we are happy and really get high and wild that we are still crazy walking in and out in the middle of the night.

Oh, forget to mentioned, Sharon, Pueh Ling and KaiKai con me by asking me to help fill up kaiKai's bottle. I was so lazy at that time because we just reached our room and you know, it's tiring walking and I refused to move (I have to take the lift up to fill cold water and then go back to our room floor to fill hot water). But then Sharon says she'll go and help KaiKai to refill and bring me together with her. Don't know what's wrong with me, I followed her without questioning. After filling up the bottles, we went back to our room and they actually gives me a surprise early birthday party!!! I was so touch and I'm really touched the moment Sharon passed me her teddy bear that she won in one of the outdoor theme park game. I played that game too coz I want that teddy bear, but I can't get any prizes :'( and I eventually give up. Both Ling and Sharon got that teddy bear but not me :( but now I got it as my birthday present!! So touched and happy and really, I didn't expect that you guys will celebrate for me there.. :) You guys rocks my world and we are always best friends forever!!

There are two irritating men sitting at the lounge infront of our second lift and you know what? They offers men (themselves) to you!! This two men while I'm filling water in the water dispenser (my room floor dispenser is only hot water, so, in order to fill our bottle with cold water, we have to take the evaluator up to get cold water and people from that floor have to go to our floor to get hot water. Really trouble maker. Can't the management give us some peace of mind by providing every floor with hot and cold water and not each time we need to refill water, we have to take the lift?), they keep telling me and my friend that they can introduce men to us so that we won't be bored. I feel like scolding them but we quickly walk off. Mood spoiler man!

But nothing's can spoil my holiday mood with my best friends around me. :)

Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mamma's Hung You in the Closet and I'm feeling So Sad

The night was spend with the gang in KLPac to watch Edwyn, Melissa and Sangeetha's performance - Arthur Kopit's Oh Dad, Poor Dad.
It was my first time watching this type of live performance.
It was totally an eye opening for me as I didn't know it was absolutely awesome.

We can guess, watching Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mamma's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feelin' So Sad, that playwright Arthur Kopit had some issues with women. His two female leads are lunatics: First, a mother so fastidious and overbearing that she locks her son in a hotel room for his entire life. Second, a child-molesting slut who seems hopelessly attracted to Asperger's syndrome. Madonna and whore, mother and lover, a virginal womb and a deflowered one: This is Kopit's bipolar world, where estrogen is gunpowder and testosterone engenders innocence.

Oh Dad, Poor Dad takes place in a hotel in 1950s Havana. Madame Rosepettle is an American widow traveling the Caribbean. She's pushy, demanding, and insulting to everyone. She travels with a piranha, two Venus flytraps and her recently deceased husband, whose corpse is stuffed and hanging in the hotel closet.

Her son, Jonathan, is an obsessive-compulsive collector of stamps, coins and books. Clad in suspenders, shorts and tall black socks, Jonathan is more than a dork -- he's an over-protected son, imprisoned in his mother's room, unable to make decisions, viewing the world through a homemade telescope.
